Blue Cheese Bread Bits

From Dorothy McNett's recipes at So, yes, once in awhile I use a "readymade" product such as these refrigerator biscuits. For this recipe, they work nicely. It makes a perfect finger food for your apperizer parties and pairs nicely with beer or wines, red or white. Enjoy!

1 can buttermilk refrigerator biscuits
4 oz. blue cheese (French roquefort is great here!)
1/3 cup unsalted butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut each biscuit into four pieces. Melt the butter in a glass measuring cup for 30 - 50 seconds in microwave. Stir in the blue cheese. Dip each piece of biscuit into the mixture and place on a baking sheet with sides. Bake 12-15 minutes, or until browned and done. Serve warm or room temperature.
