Blue Cheese Bread Bits

From Dorothy McNett's Recipe Book at So, yes, once in awhile I use a "readymade" product such as these refrigerator biscuits. For this recipe, they work nicely. It makes a perfect finger food for your apperizer parties and pairs nicely with beer or most wines, red or white.

1 can buttermilk refrigerator biscuits
4 oz. blue cheese
1/3 cup butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut each biscuit into four pieces. Microwave the butter on high in a measuring cup for 30 seconds. Stir in the blue cheese. Dip each piece of biscuit into the mixture and place on baking sheet with sides. Bake 12-15 minutes, or until browned and done. Serve warm.
