Parisian Warmed Brie with Sliced Pears
From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. The cheese used tonight is Le Delice de Bourgogne triple cream soft ripened cheese from France...got it at Trader Joe's.
1 wedge or round of French Brie aka "The Queen of Cheeses"
Place brie on a beautiful plate. Set aside. Slice pears and place on a glass or ceramic plate. Drizzle with a little brandy. Heat in microwave 2-3 minutes to warm and soften the pears. Arrange the warm slices over and under the brie. Sprinkle with nuts, serve with crackers or bread, and of course some nice French wine.
