Warmed Brie with Sliced Pears

1 wedge or round of good quality Brie
1-2 fresh pears, very thinly sliced
2-3 teaspoons brandy, if desired
1/4 cup spiced pecans

Place Brie on a beautiful plate. Set aside. Slice pears and place on a plate. Drizzle with a little brandy. Microwave 2-3 minutes to warm and soften the pears. Arrange the warm slices over and under the Brie. Sprinkle with nuts, serve with crackers or bread.
