Pears and Apples with Cheese

Wash and slice apples and pears into bite-sized pieces. Arrange on a platter with crackers and a block or wedge of cheese. Provide slicers and let quests dig in. Apples and pears will darken quickly, so cut only a few. Heap the rest on the platter for effect. You can also pop the sliced fruits into a bowl of lemon water for about 5 minutes, then pat dry. The lemon helps to prevent the oxidation.
