Strawberries with Balsamic
From Dorothy McNett's Recipe Book at www.dorothymcnett.com. Use raspberries as well as mixed fruits such as melon and peaches. If you happen to have some really good aged balsamic, about 20-30 years aged, just drizzle a bit over sliced berries on individual plates or bowls.
Fresh red-ripe strawberries, sliced or other fruit slices
Place the berries in a beautiful bowl. Toss with a little powdered sugar. Sprinkle on best quality and excellent tasting balsamic vinegar. Serve.
