Chocolate Covered Fresh Cherries
From Dorothy McNett's recipes at www.dorothymcnett.com. If desired, allow the cherries to soak in a little brandy a few hours before dipping. Also, just a drop of two of anise oil adds a special effect.
1/2 pound dark sweet chocolate (70-75%)
Microwave the chocolate in a glass measuring cup on high for 1 minute. Stir to finish the melting. Wash and pat dry the cherries and dip each into the chocolate and place on waxed paper to harden.
