Bobbie's "Jam"

created by Bobbie Miller of San Benito County as remembered from a recipe of her mothers.

2 freestone peaches
2 pears
1 orange
1/2 can crushed pineapple
1 6 oz. jar maraschino cherries
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 package pectin
6 cups sugar

Chop peaches, pears and orange and combine. Set aside. In another bowl combine pineapple and cherries. Cook according to the peach jam directions on the pectin package and put into hot sterilized jars.
